It would appear that Iowa and I are officially broken up.

I ran over talking about this in my head all day, but it would never go as smooth. Hell, it went so bad I made up that I had somewhere to go (sawy Iowa) just to get out of there. Fuck...
Dad keeps telling me not to ask out a friend (like I've done for both my crushes) "Because it'd be so difficult and awkward to go back to friendship if it didn't work out after". I find that to be the complete opposite, and in fact quite good, especially since you don't have to stalk them to find out if you really like them or not.
