I still remember the day when we met at Books-a-Million. We laughed and exchanged jokes, and then we outside and he pulled out a cigarette. Being the mouthy & opinionated little cub I am, I told him (in a rather snarky tone) that smoking is bad for him and that I have asthma because of cigarettes. He smirked at me and blew a puff of smoke in my face... Truthfully, folks, I didn't know whether to punch the man or kiss him right there. Somehow, I ended up with his number that night.

2 years later, one night when I was at my lowest and most depressed, I called him. He listened and comforted me while I cried over someone who had broken my heart into little pieces. We arranged a date on Valentine's Day (of all day) for us to meet up. That night, one smile led to another, and we decided to court each other =)

Eric and I went through alot within the short amount of time we dated. Both memories full of joy and happiness, and then some with great pain and tears. Most couples, from what I understand, usually wait 2 or more years before even considering the 'm' word. However, Eric and I decided on the afternoon of October 27th, 2007, we would say our vows and be together forever. Through sickness and in health. For better or worse, and until death do us part. I love you, my beloved Eric Hopson, and will always be by your side.
