Busy busy busy, and YAY! USA trip! :D
Good lord recent times have been hectic.
Despite not having properly finished my Masters in translation, I now have a steady job at a translation agency. I initially was juggling two jobs (this one and my job at a local supermarket), but this left me with so little time I wasn't even able to properly work on my thesis (aggravated by the teacher supposed to guide me through the process not responding to me until only a week ago), not to mention a near-total lack of free time.
I was pretty much getting caught up in wayyy too much at once (including wages-issues), but now everything finally seems to be settled :D
Last couple of weeks I have been working full-time to get extra funds up for the nearly month-long trip (or rather journey) I will be going on in a few days - so right now I'm busy with preparations and attempting to stuff half of my earthly possessions in a suitcase as well as making sure all my flight-neccessities are in order.
Right now I'm at the 'getting nervous, but excited in a positive way' stage; looking forward to the trip itself and arriving at my destination, nervous about all the hoops I'll have to jump through at customs/security upon setting foot in the US.
It's all worth it though, not just for the round-trip I'll be going on, but also because I'll be meeting
kadath (who will also be my guide during the round-trip),
Ashadan,
mokuseikaze and
missangelab again :D
This is the biggest and longers trip I've ever been on, but the knowledge that I won't be all by my onesies really helps with any worries I might have (and I tend to as I'm something of a worry-wart).
So yeah, a lot happend, but I have a trip only a few days away that I'm looking forward to like I never have to anything else before :D

Ooh, I have no doubt it will be. Only thing I can think of that could ruin it is that supervolcano deciding to go boom, and even then there'll at least be fireworks ;P

I'm looking forward to seeing and hanging out with you again! :D

Much the same, even moreso since this time I won't be just coming out of a rather nasty separation and will probably be a lot more cheerful and talkative :D
