FA Hiccup Rant: Forwarded

Copypasted this from
gothicskunk because the wording was just perfect. Some may be irrelevant to my person, but you'll get the overall message at the end...
Well! That was certainly interesting, wasn't it?
FurAffinity: United... I didn't think it was going to be nearly as popular as it was. Let it be known that I was officially surprised. While I did not attend, numerous acquaintances of mine did, and that goes a long way towards the convention for future years.
And someone just couldn't resist taking an otherwise impossible opportunity and tainting the convention on it's first year in annual rotation.
As a typical Fur Affinity user, I realize I'm not privy to all the details. I'm certain that many details are not permitted to be exposed by law, so we may never know the full scoop.
Yet some behaviour I witnessed on the FA forums regarding this brief hiccup has shocked me.
Some people 'demand answers.' Absurd. You're using the services of fur affinity free of charge. You're not 'owed' anything. If administrators give you an explanation, you should be thankful for the closure. Even if you donate $500 a month to FA, you're still not owed a damn thing.
To people on the forums putting emotes between asterisk's about going on bloody rages and huffing and puffing like the big bad wolf: Grow up.
To people worried about their passwords being hacked: Relax.
To anyone calling for administrator blood: Just shut up.
To anyone calling for Dragoneer/Preyfar's blood: SERIOUSLY, shut up! I don't know anyone else that's given more blood, sweat, tears, nor sacrificed so much to keep this website up and running. I sympathize for the poor guy, seriously. Spending the majority of the year halfway around the world, finally gets to come home and enjoy a convention he helped set up, only to have some punk(s) score some lulz by hijacking HIS administrative account!
I APPLAUD Preyfar's diligence, which is allowing me to write this journal now, and allowing you to read it.
You'll be fine, FA will be fine. Shrug it off, and shoot the puck.
I'd say that's about right.

Lot of crying and moaning is no good... Pretty sucky. Well said, thanks for the repeat.
