Lol, they do this a lot and theres not really much you can do other that won't cause her to stress out (which birds have a habit of doing easily)... Just pretend she's bootydancing, lol..

Leave her alone, it's not hurting anything. If you try to keep her from doing it you could stress her out which could cause her alot of health problems.

I hadn't tried to stop her or yell at her, it was just surprising to look up while talking on the phone and see her doing it.
Do you know if this happens all the time? Shes 4 years old and this is the first time Ive ever seen anything like this.

As far as I'm aware it's very common. With many kinds of birds.

Hmmm... I noticed in that comment up there you said she started doing this recently and she's 4.. have you had her since she was young? If so it seems odd she'd start this behavior after being in the same place for so long. Has anything changed recently? Perhaps something that may seem insigifnicant to you but she noticed. Change is more noticed by animals than us a lot of the time...

if that's not it.. maybe she's trying to get your attention or something? Or maybe it's just a phase she needs to get through. I don't know much about birds, so sorry I can't give you better advice! Good luck o_o I know I'd be a little disturbed also if my pet did this all the time.

I got her a new cage a few months ago (the old one was falling apart) and a while after that I got two new toys for her. Like, a swing with little bits on it for her to mess with, and these freaky wiffle balls with smaller ballS inside.
OH - and I just recently moved.
