People I dont Understand

Music Nazi's. The one's who feel like just because they liked a band before they were popular, gives them the right to brag about it. Or bitch and moan about how the music they play now isn't as good as what they used to play.
To me, it's like the people that bitch about videogame series. Example: Pokemon. People will fly off the handle about how the first generation/first two generation's were the only true Pokemon experience. I'm sorry that you don't like new innovative ideas being tried out, but for the love of god crawl out of your nostalgia hole and QUIT BITCHING. You are most likely the minority, as the game is still selling millions of copies a minute. This logic also applies to music albums.
OH WAIT, NO I GET IT. They're hipsters v: All is well. Disregard me :3

This of course, is also the /b/ mentality; it's only cool until it goes outside of the internet's assho-I MEAN 4Chan. Once it hits the outside world it's "uncool" :B
dogfuckers D8
Where the hell is my sandwich?! Been waiting over a week for that damn thing D:<
Except there's nothing innovative about the pokemon games after first generation. You still pick 1 of the three stabdard types, you still can carry only 6 with you, you still can't walk diagonally, you still have to beat 8 gym masters for 8 badges, you still go to some elite 4 after that, you still need the same items from the first game acquired in the exact same order as the first game, there's a million and one different pokemon, but you can only catch and use a handful on your first play through, still only 4 different attacks *inhaaaaaaale*
Pokemon are cute and all, but the games *makes a face*
The only Ghost attack that did real damage, couldn't hit psychic types. They were somehow immune to it.
Critical hit Damage was based off of your speed and nothing else. A Persian with Slash was the hardest hitting creature in Gen 1
Raise your stats too much in battle (Swords Dance, etc) and it would loop back around to the single digits. There was no cap to prevent this from happening.
Leech Seed and Toxic determined damage using the same counter. meaning that if a PokeMon poisoned with Toxic had been seeded, First Toxic would take off a tick of damage. Then Leech seed would use that counter and do MORE damage. The next tick of toxic used that tick of leech seed, so it does even MORE. So on and so forth.
Special determined both your defense against special attacks and how much damage your special attacks did. Amnesia in Gen1 would turn anything into a wall of rape.
Also, if you want to get really technical, any fantasy-rpg series in of itself never adds anything new to the table. Nor do MegaMan games, but you love them so, yes?
Sure there's always kinks that need to be smoothed out in the first of every series, but that has nothing to do with innovation either. I could complain about megaman the exact same way I do about pokemon (the older megaman games anyway, the new ones follow a story line rather than have you select a stage from a select screen), but I don't because we think megaman games are fun to play either way and I think pokemon games are a drag.
Certainly what they make is a type of art but it is not music XD "I" Am a real music nazi or perhaps puritan?
I think you are talking about hipsters.
thank you for realizing that you were talking about hipsters before the journal ended ^_^
