I guess I'll do one of these "what I did while at furfright" things, too.

Thursday/Friday:
Got on plane #1 to Georgia (at midnight, mind you. only got about 10 minutes of sleep on the plane), had a 3 hour layover there, then flew into CT.

When I got there, I met  silverautomatic at the airport, and he still agreed to drive me to the con. He took me to the hotel (the super 8, aka overflow 2), where he napped for a little bit, and I partially unpacked and called home. After about half an hour, we drove to the main hotel, and I gave Silver his thank you pen that I made.

At the hotel, we went in the wrong entrance (I blame Silver), got lost for a bit, and finally found our way to the registration room.

After getting my badge and packet of con goodies, I wandered around for a bit, said hi/gave hugs to  sciggles,  dragoneer, and  donryu. At one point I wandered into the video game room and played rock band 3 and super smash bros. for a bit.

Eventually, in my random wanderings, I went by the reg room, looked at the events board, and saw something about a TF2-related room party. Since I like TF2, I decided to hang around that area and chat with the people that had just put it up (spoilers, it's the group from my previous journal). After a while of hanging out with them, instead of booting me out like most sane people would, they accepted me as one of their own and took to calling me "the guy".

After that, it's kind of a fuzzy blur of laughing and candy consuming. Went to bed early to catch up on the sleep I missed.

Saturday:
Woke up around 9:00, ate probably the tiniest bagel I've ever seen, and went back to the con.

When I got there, I wandered around for a bit, got a picture with Donryu (which later got deleted due to my camera crapping itself), went into the dealer's den and got a picture with  fossil, then hung out in the video game room again, where I saw a guy dressed as a creeper. After a while, I decided to check out the tabletop game room and met another group of people to chat with for a bit. Then I decided to go bug Silver in the reg. room for a while. (note: this may not be in chronological order, I was still kind of fuzzy at this point)

Later on, I went with Silver, Miko, Mech, Aurora, and Rei to get pizza. Pizza was pretty good, I'd never had thin-crust style before.

Then we all went back to the hotel to watch the masquerade. The cutest thing that happened there was the on-stage proposal (good job and best of luck to you both!)

After the masquerade, I decided to check out Cake Con. Unfortunately, due to the masquerade, I didn't get there in time for the bacon cake. However, I was there for the raid on Piecon, which was probably the most exciting thing they had happen to them (that place was dead before we ever got there).

Afterward, we just hung out until around midnight when I walked back to the hotel with  gynnyr and  that-boy.

sunday:

Hung out in the VG room for a while, then bugged Silver and the other reg. room people. Spent a good part of the day hanging out with the guys. got pictures with various people. Missed the first half of the closing ceremonies, but I got there in time for the money raised announcement ($12,000 holy what), and saw Bear get dumped in the pool.

Then I went to TGIFridays with Silver, Miko, Mech and Rei, went back to the hotel, and slept.

Finally came home on Monday after a severely delayed flight. The end.

tl;dr 10/10 probably will go again.
