Good you're safe... Last year I lost my car in an accident. Nobody got hurt. For me only a few marks and 3 days hospital.

No worries.. It was just bad for my car, which I could sell to a restoring company. Got 9k€ for it. The "new" car was 15k. :3

As for me, well, I wouldn't worry about the traffic, because I would never get a car or license for that matter. Mainly because I'am scared of traffic... ^^;

Ohhh I hear you. I had my first scary car accident a couple of days ago when I wasn't paying attention at a crosswalk and some woman on a bike ran right into my CRV as I was driving through it. Fortunately nobody was hurt, and neither the bike or the car was damaged, but it scared the crap out of me. My driving can get pretty shoddy when my anxiety is on the rise. My introverted worry usually distracts me and makes me anxious to get to my destination as soon as possible so I don't end up suffering a full fledged panic attack on the road. It makes me wonder how I can get around with my anxiety getting more prevalent. If I don't get things sorted soon, I might need to hang up my car keys and driver's license for a while...

Anyway, sorry if I'm projecting too many of my own issues on your journal, just thought I'd share a story that you're not alone with letting worries affect your ability behind the wheel.

Yeah, I understand, dude. Sometimes we believe we can drive safely despite the problematic situations, but it's not like that. My car is now under repair, so I'll take advantage of the time not to drive for a while.

There have been quite a few times where I've almost hit another car in a way that would have been entirely my fault. However so far all of the accidents that I have been in were the fault of someone else. It's easy to forget just how much power your steering while your driving.
