I was going to post a newish story. It's gone though. I think it got eaten when the C drive went said, "Look what I can do," and died. So... I guess that means I should rewrite it at some point. Heck I could probably make it longer and better. It was one of the many that I wrote that never saw the light of day or weren't what the publisher was looking for.

I'll just have to go back through and try again. I'm also trying to write a story using someone else's characters again. I always found that to be fairly difficult because, I'd like to stay as true to the original owner's idea as to how they should behave and relate to one another while incorporating my own stuff as well. It's not impossible. But the results can vary widely depending on how much of a feel I get from the characters.

I really do hope that someday something I do will make its way to a publisher. Even if it doesn't sell so well at least it will be in print and I can point to it on a bargain rack and say, "See I'm published."
