Should I actively look for love or should I just not bother, people tell me they love me only to find they back out and stab me. So if you truly don't love me, please don't tell me you do. It only hurts more. Thankyou

I think that it's sometimes easy for people to mistake infatuation with love.
For now, I would say just wait for someone to come along. I've found that looking for someone has never worked for me. If you think positively about yourself and your future, the right person will come to you :3
