Howdy All!

Well, November 9th.... it's that time of year again... My Birthday.

As I've gotten to college and moved away from my family and other very close friends. I've seen the magnificence given to this day dissipate more and more each year. Well, i'm sorry to say this year is no different then the last 5 here in college. This isn't an emo journal or a sob story merely just an observation.

Heh, I sorta regret it's had that impact. I'd really love to be kidnapped from the library while I work tonight and taken to dinner with some of my good friends and a small cake at the end of dinner. A couple of bday cards. Nothing to fancy or big, I find myself not really wanting many "gifts" or such.

Becoming 24 is a different matter. I realize how much my life is progressing and all the things I've still yet to do. Not like... sky dive, or bungie jump, or be a porn star (heh heh), or win the lottery. But,.. more about finding a special someone, finding what I want to do with my life, where i want to spend my life. The deeper decisions and questions. Sadly, I keep using my parents as guides, which as they've said is a horrible example. They met in the 8th grade, stayed together and got married right after college. My father was already called doctor at the age of 24. So it's tough trying to establish where I want or need to be in my life having them as my role models.

Anyways, I wanted attention for my birthday so wish me a Happy Birthday everyone!
