Is my story order confusing?

I have written (and am writing) several story arcs that take place in the past. To big ones...
1. The Rickie story, starting at the dragon raids and still not caught up.
2. The Elf story, which has caught up.
Has any of this been confusing? Do I need to make it more clear when a story is happening in the 'past' or do you get it right away when I write one?
I do plan to bring the Rickie storyline into the present, but will probably want to do more stories that take place then, or even earlier sometimes and am not sure how the best way to do that is.
Should I just keep numbering chapters.. or make separate 'novels' out of them? Having characters like Brant branch off into their own lives makes that hard... I'm not entirely sure what to do. Add dates to all the chapters? Maybe draw a graph?

Was a bit confusing at the begin, but I understood it.
If you do edit all of them, I would link it to another submission and make that an index.
That way you can make changes to just that index.

I currently link to chapter 1... mainly because I figured the less clicks to get to the story the lest likely a potential reader will get bored and wander off. Heh.
I don't think you need to change anything. Your story is wonderful just the way it is... Only thing I ask you to do is to keep it up. I'd be one sad Kitty if it ever stopped.
