There's a really nice stretch of public beach in Luquillo, in front of the rental houses and past Los Kioskos. :3 Free to drive up, park by the sidewalk and be on the beach, if we pick a good day it may not be too crowded. There are some restaurants nearby, like a pizza place or two, and there should still be a pool parlor at one of the pizza places around there.

As for another place... hm, there is a beautiful public park near San Juan, my sister met with some friends for her birthday once there. It's pretty big, in the middle of the city but surprisingly peaceful and secluded. I have to get the directions from my sister, but it's a pretty nice place to walk around, hang out, talk, even have a picnic. :)

Rito, that's the beach my family always hits when we go to the beach!

Oh? Yeah, our family has always gone there, it's our main "relaxing" beach.

Hmm *loads* i like Rito's beach idea^^ Oh! N' may i suggest Jardin Botanico(Cupey, close to Rio Piedras) as a possible garden visit its beautiful n peaceful (and its got art^^ pieces around, maybe a picnic? i'll bring the doughnuts^^ hehe)

Well, come on down! :3 I know what it's like, I was in Indiana for college for four years, and it got COLD. Flat plains mean all the snow and wind and cold just blow on through with hardly any impediments. People did get kinda grumbly when I mentioned I went home in Puerto Rico for winter break. x3

But yeah, traveling is expensive. Sorry for the random comment by the way. *extends a paw* I go by Rito, I'm in Las Piedras here on the island.

lol, s'all good. *shakes* Papi here; nuyorican to the core, heh. My dad's side is from Morovis/Vega Baja, but I kinda know whereabouts Las Piedras is.

One day I'll have the money and freedom to just hop on down there, but alas, right now that is not even CLOSE to being the case, LOL

Yeah, my mother is nuyorican as well, but my parents moved to Puerto Rico a while back (my dad is Puerto Rican as well, grew up in New Jersey).

Las Piedras is next to Humacao, the latter being busier/better well known, usually. And yes, I plan for the same to be the case with me, but it's not yet. Good luck!

Well if i talk with my parents i do have a beach house in playas del yunque and theres also a few places. aww master hehehe you remember the bowling alley we all went in cupey ^ ^. I'm always available for some fun but ill write down nov 27 just in case.
