Flood damage/commissions update
So the carpenters are finally coming tomorrow/Thursday to recarpet the whole house. I would have liked to have had this over and done with sooner, but the pneumonia and other factors really slowed all processes down. All furniture has been moved out of the house into the garage and the rest into a storage unit- even the beds- I'm camped out in a sleeping bag on the concrete in front of the fireplace as I type this. Anyway, everything is out of the house- all my computers, scanners, and etc. are dismantled and in the garage as well, even the wireless router had to be pulled out of the wall, so I'm typing this on my iPhone.
Anyway, the damaged walls have all been rebuilt, retextured, and repainted, so the carpet is getting put down tomorrow, and Friday the tile and wood flooring is going in. And then I have the joy of moving all our crap BACK inside the house and setting up all over again, so please understand that I may be hard to contact during that time, and it will be a good 3-4 days before my computer stuff and scanners are moved back in so that I can scan and continue sending out WIPs.
Am NOT looking forward to this, but will be thrilled to death when it's finally all over and I'm no longer looking at concrete floors in the house and ripped up walls.

If I lived in the area, I would do the Hired Muscle thing! Sadly, Hired Muscle is in Virginia, and cannot flex in California :<
I'm looking forward to seeing some of your new creations. In the meantime, look after yourself and take care.
