CoD: Black Ops - Mini Review (No Spoilers)

General
Unfortunately this felt like one of those games the developers though "We can make a really good multilayer game, that everyone will complain about but that wont stop them buying it and playing it. However we HAVE to have a single player story mode... so lets knock that story up in 15 minutes over our lunch"
The multilayer is fun I admit, my only issues are with lag. Mainly the "I shot him 5 times in the back, yet he still managed to turn around, shoot me once in the ankle and kill me" problem. Though I tend to get around that by playing on Hardcore Multilayer where one shot kills. This leads to mass camping however which cancels out the fun of Hardcore mode. 8 people all prone in corners waiting makes for a very long slow game.
The story I predicted from the second or third mission, and then had this prediction reinforced and rubbed in my face multiple times throughout the rest of the game.
I'm still yet to play it threw on Veteran. I enjoy playing COD games on Veteran, but never on the first time through as I like to explore and not feel too pressured for time or ammo my first play through. Only exception being Fallout: New Vegas which I'm playing on Hardcore mode from the start! I also know Fallout: NV came out before Fable 3 and CoD:BO yet I've not said anything about it, this is because I'm still playing it! S'good and keeping me entertained with all the missions and side quests despite all of its bugs. Expect a mini review soon when I finish it.
