I have a pretty keen sense of smell. Not superhuman, but good enough. I'm characteristically a pretty shy person, so I like to observe what goes on around me. One of the ways in which I do that is through smell. So I'm constantly flaring my nostrils or breathing deeply to try to surreptitiously get more of a scent that catches my attention. I think it's very important to be attracted to someone based on their natural smell. To me, it just says "your body wants you to mate with this person", and hey, who am I to disagree with biology? So if I think you smell good, I may have problems staying away from you.
