So I finally saw Splice...

It was Pretty good. I liked it. It had a couple soft core sex scenes and a soft core rape/partial incest scene.
Aside from the sex its story about 2 scientists on the verge of THE biggest breakthrough in scientific history. But they're forced to shut down due to a predominantly "not ready and morally correct" Society. So they do things they're own way.
Thats all I can say without totally spoiling it.

The premise sounds interesting, although i sincerely doubt that would be "THE biggest breakthrough in scientific history". How about the discovery of penicillin, the split of the atom (and the nuclear bomb), the first man in space, the microchip, etc?
Also, there are many things that could go wrong if human-animal hybrids were common place. For instance, they could be used for experiments instead of rats, slaughtered for their organs, turned into slaves, etc. because "hey, at least they're not human".
To be honest i would buy it, but i doubt they have it here (i'm not American)
