Well, I've landed myself in the hospital again...

General
yes, yes I did.
Much more serious this time around too. >.>
I was riding my 5 yr old paint mare Tango yesterday, who is still very very green under saddle and I was trying to make her go near a gate so I could teach her how to stand so I can open gates. But being the firey little mare she is instead of doing as I wanted she threw a tantrum and started bucking. So I pulled up her head to stop the bucking and she decided that if she couldn't buck, she'd rear, which she did.
Although this wasn't a normal rear, this was a straight up and down rear, the type where when a horse has a rider on their back they tend to fall over backwards, which she did, right onto me, in a western saddle...
Luckily my mom and dad were both out in the yard, so I started screaming, got their attention right away, and was in the ambulance 15 minutes later.
So after spending the better part of the day in emergency I found out that I did not have any internal injuries, but I do have a fractured pelvis, in two places on my left side.
Therefore I have to spend the next 5-10 days in the hospital, and god knows how long at home in bed. It's going to be at least 3 months until I can ride or do taekwondo again, and I'll be spending the first few weeks of colledge in a wheelchair.
Ah, aren't horses wonderful....
Anyway, the reason I am posting this here is to let everyone know that I am stuck in the hospital where my dad has set me up a dial-up connection on my laptop.
I doubt I'll be making much art for the next week or two, commissioners, please bear with me.
and everyone else please bear with my spelling mistakes, I am on pretty heavy pain killers at the moment, so not 100% here.

FA+

try to make the best of it tho dear.....every time I wind up in the hospital long term I take advantage of catching up on drawings, calling peeps and daytime tv,as soon as I am coherent from the pain meds.
And look at the positive things of the situation.....like right now,all the jello you can eat ^_^
If you were closer I would visit in my pony suit, but if I remember correctly yur a lonnnng way from az.
Get better soon Brushfire *hugs*
Take care of yourself you will be back in the saddle before you know it. If I were closer I would bring you some medicine.
Hahaha, just kidding. Trying to make you feel better. Hope the pain killers are working! If they are, that takes some stress off of me attempting to be entertaining. I'm only funny if you're high to some degree, and laugh at any random thing I write.
And if that's the case, then POOP.
Otherwise, I apologize for using the word "poop".
I should give that a try.
And dont let this stop you from horse back riding. ;)
How in the world have I survived for 20 years, and working around horses... Yet not have had a single broken bone...
eh, anywho... you have the support of your fans n' friends... (its a horribly redundant statement, but...) get better soon. ^_^
you take care relax and rest enjoy the pain meds LOL could be worse you could be alergic to vicodin like the dragon i got to see the 2 different floor tiles leaping and hopping to take over the floor from the other color then the wall paper started to flap in the wind
you get well soon
