Weekend Workings

General
It took forever to get Genus #84 uploaded to the printer, since the internet decided to act funky all weekend, no doubt due to the rain. But hey, 14th anniversary issue. I can't believe I've been working on Genus for fourteen years now. Yikes. I posted the Top 100 stories list over on our forum. (As decided by reader votes, it's totally a popularity contest, like the old "Fave Ninja High School character" contest that used to run in the letters page of that book.) It surprises me all the time what old stories hang on and keep getting more votes and what older stories fade into obscurity. And it's neat to see which new stories muscle onto the list. Since we get so few actual letters of comment, sometimes the vote thing is the only way we know if people like things. I haven't been able to update the listing for the Top 100 stories for Furrlough in forever, but I've put a link to them at the bottom of this post too.

I demand you burn all copies.
But see? Like I said, some older stories live forever in the votes listing, and some just fade away. It's so random what will "hit" with people and what won't!
You totally called it though- you did what you thought the fandom would like, and they did like it! If you look at it that way, it's quite successful.
However, I will totally not complain about more new Kandlin stories! XD
