thanks i slipped while using a mandoline (a slicing gadget) to cut apples. It took the meat off the end of my finger in a chunk. It hurts more than anything at this point, the bleeding finally stopped.

I did something similar with my thumb and a fileting knife x.x luckly it merely cut me deep rather than sliced something off. I did it waaaay back but I still have the scar on my thumb.

I dunno if you got the finger tip reattached or not (?) but I would say you're looking at a couple weeks, certainly, before it's healed up.

ouch :( please take care of yourself. you really have such awful luck in life *hugs* one time in a department store, the coworkers were playing with my brand new box cutter, i went to grab it and gripped it strongly not from the plastic part but from the blade, a brand new factory sealed blade (meaning ultra-sharp) i cut my thumb very deeply and i can't tel you how madly depressed i got at being unable to play my video games. i need my thumb to rotate the right analog stick and to hit the action buttons.
