Okay, I said I'd have the first commissions done in 2 weeks and its going on 3? Theres a reason behind this, and I'd like to let people know before there like 'omg my art' All line work is done on almost everything I'm working on. Including over half my trades. I've been having a very big problem with coloring. I've been using dick blick brand markers and the f-ing blow. They suck so hard its ridiculous. They eat the coating on the paper of the bristol I use, and mix it in with the ink (that they also eat) and smear it around until it looks like hell. Scrathmore apperently added something into there new bristol smooth paper, because I didn't used to have this problem.
So I've been really avoiding coloring anything that isn't white. Cos I have prisma-colors in grey shades. Which don't make a mixey mess of everything. Like I colored 2 pictures, the one for Jessica and the one for Kittengrinder, and they look awful. :C I've managed to fix them up with gouache but I'm still not happy with the out come.
A friend of mine said he's going to sponsor me to get some new markers. Which will be next week...or the week after? Sometime relativity soon anyway.
So I'm waiting to finish up the commissions and trades til I get these new markers.
So anyway, if you want to see your ink work let me know. Or if you don't want to wait this extra time also let me know. I'll finish with what I have if you want me to. I just won't be to thrilled with the outcome of the picture.
Also I'm going to decide today whether or not I want to scrap the finished ones and start again, so I may be uploading what is finished. :)

Yours would come out similar in color to that picture, because I've only got a few blue markers.
And the artist that did the belly dancing pic did a good job, it's really adorable.
