ON TO THE FANGIRL BABBLING VERSION:
It's just about that time of year again!
A time I've been waiting for for almost exactly a year.
DESERT. BUS. FOR. HOPE!
Sleep and productivity trickle into a gasp of vapours as I try to experience every moment of Penn & Teller's: Desert Bus, as played by several members of the hilarious Canadian comedy troupe: Loading Ready Run.
I've canceled my DnD game, and I'm only taking essential breaks I have no real control over (food, hygiene, husband).
I have stocked up on Cheetos (well... I think I can make this bag last the duration... I'll consider it a challenge) and I have plenty of oatmeal I can whip up in 2 minutes to minimise away time.
I will be doing a buttload of laundry tomorrow to make sure my husband and I remain clothed.
I WILL continue to work on owed art as I watch and listen to the LRR crew play the intentionally dullest video game since... ever. I just won't be able to colour anything with the Crew-Cam and Bus-Cam running simultaneously.
I have a little money set aside to throw in to either donations or possibly futile auctions (I might come out of this with an exclusive POG!).
Normal Production should return next Wednesday or so, depending how long it takes me to recover from this apparent waste of time. But y'know, it's like a free convention I don't have to leave home for, am completely invisibly attending, don't have to interact with the other attendies and can't catch con-crud from, and can actually show up for the panels/events WHILE still working on art. All in all... I may be insane. But happy. I call that a win.
But if you do wanna donate money to a good cause and witness some degree of entertainment in the process, check it out.
Also, it's
Balade's birthday next Wednesday... my man is gunna be old! Go tell him to stop being old! : X
Additionally, I'm not abandoning my obligations to my husband's web-casts on Friday and Sunday (http://www.javgw.com/), so I'll be taking time off for those... gotta get my weekly Scare on for Fatal Frame after all.

I'm a big believer in Child's Play, particularly this specific drive. All their Canadianness ends up reminding me that I haven't read Sam and Fuzzy for like 6 months. Then I read it. It helps that Sam Logan has actually contributed once or twice behind the boring, boring wheel.
