Chapter one

  I stood at bottom of the steps to my new school, terrified of being the target of attention. It was the biggest school I have ever seen in my life! Not to mention the fact that it was an all boys boarding school, which scared me even more considering the fact that "I" Trenton power, was gay.
 
I think my mom sent me here to Cerberus academy, to get me away from that god awful police academy job. I only accepted the the job because of Matt. but god knows i dont even want to think about that...

  I acended the stairs to the school doors and opened them, half expecting to be swarmed with kids my own age asking me about why my fur was three different colors, or why my ruby red eyes seemed to glow.
 But nothing happend, all I got were a couple smiles and a few scowls directed towards me. 
 'god this is going to be a long day...' I thought to myself...

  my firt class was English... My favorite class gone wrong...
I wished I had at least seen some one I knew but that didn’t happen...
 I had bee introduced and all of that crap. The teacher sat me next to another husky, he looked about two years younger then I did. His head fur was about the same length as mine, long and sorta scruffy looking, his eyes were a chestnut brown and he smiled at me like I was his best friend... The same smile Matt always gave me... I shook the thought of him out of my head and stared straight ahead. I noticed out of the corner of my eye that the other boy had his ears flattened against his head and his tail drooped In sadness. I wondered if he thought I was being mean to him, that's when I decided that I would talk to him when this period ended, which hopefully, was soon...

 as class ended I got up to talk to the boy, and next thing I knew, he was gone... 
 "that's Sean," a voice came from behind. I turned around  to see who it was. An orange tom cat stood before me. "I'm max... Sean's shy as hell, and every one else here isn't to fond of him either."
I raised my eyebrows and perked up my ears in curiosity. "why?"
"cause he's gay..." he laughed and I shot him a glance that could kill. 
"so what?!?" I growled back and he flinched.
"geez, I'm not making fun of him," he quivered," I'm just saying he's gay, and by your reaction, you are too..."
My eyes went as round as dinner plates, "I-I'm not," tried to protest but he cut me off.
"don't worry, and another reason I came to talk you was because you my new room mate." he Beamed and my eyes went wider still, not knowing  how the he'll he knew that. "come! I'll show you to our room and I'll try to get Sean over some time!" he said as he grabbed my paw and practically dragged me to my new home.... God this is going to be a long day...
