I'm bisexual and still in the closet lol

I'm pan, and I just told my parents on a casual mall trip. Of course, my dad denied it.

I say, I don't give a shit what people think.
If they ask they get an answer. If they make fun of me they can eff off.
And if they go up in rage I tell them to put their hair back on.

I’m bi/pan. And technically I’m still in the closet as far as my parents go. I mean I think they may be suspicious, as I have a lot of rainbow stuff and I got in a HUGE fight with my father about gay rights, and ended up making him see that I was right. I think that if I did tell them, they would accept it. More my mom than my dad. But yea. Im not rly concerned about coming out though. I’m with a guy, and I think he’s going to be the one.

Its hard to tell your parents. Me, I never came out of the closet, because I'm scared of people's reactions. Best way is like you did, tell your friends first. That way if your parents are happy about it, you can go to them for support

I had a really close friend of mine... make it comfortable for me to come out of the closet. I find it easier the more people you tell...
Eventually I got sick of my mom asking me if I was gay... because it was getting obvious... eventually I said yes. and then everyone knew.. my mom didn't really keep quiet about it because she had one of those..

for me the "coming out of the closet" was the worst day ever...fought with my mom she yelled at me saying that i'm a bad person,a sick one and literrally that she would like more if i was a slut or something else but not a gay...i just say her: "yeah? so what? i'm happy being like this"....

Results: a bruise in my lip,in my shoulder and in my ribs....so yeah,fuck with this "coming out for the closet is easy and fun,you should try it and your parents will be ok with that" FUCK THAT....

and no one of my friends know about me...i think they figure it out or something but i didn't tell anything to them,is my business you know...

I'm homoromantic, a type of asexual. I came out in anger really. I was mad at my mom and so when she was talking about grandchildren, i suddenly said that i was gay and there would be no grandchildren.

She was shocked for a bit but then a few days later got over it. Though she did end up threating my boyfriend. As for friends, they didn't really care.

Gay here....and not entirely proud of it..

It wasnt fun....Stressful as hell. I figured my dad would go ape shit and kick me out and my mum would just be in shock. Well as it turns out dad, the ranting homophobe and prick....didnt care! Meanwhile mum just freaked out and now pretends that it never happend and keeps asking if i have a girl friend....

The first person I told was my sister, I just walked into her room and said, "I'm dating a woman," and walked back out. She was fine with it. From there it kind of spread to our close friends. As the relationship progressed classmates and other students began to figure it out (small school). It wasn't until like four or five months in that I told my parents, who weren't surprised since they had suspected it. Like, suddenly I was always going over to this girl's house all the time, lol. I just kinda told them as I was leaving the house and they were like "..k." Most of my extended family doesn't know, but pretty much everyone just figured it out on their own, aha.

Been with Red for 6-7 years and she's lived with me for 4. O_o and my parents don't know.

I don't really want to tell them because my sister is a lesbian and my mom tells me how she hopes I'm not like my sister and to be honest this is a real quote from her. "Just because it works for your sister, doesn't mean it will work for you." and then she's all hope you don't wanna be with Red forever. GO FIND MAN PLZ.

I'm bi and for some reason no one cares thus I never had to come out of teh closet

My mother wents nuts. I lost a few friends but those were just assholes who i thought were friends. But I went through a really bad patch in my life where i was really depressed, and my mother kinda guessed what was wrong.

im pansexual told my friends i was gay first than told them i was bi (they were more ok with gays but didnt understand bi ) after while i told my mom i was bi because she asked me and i told her upfront. still havent told many people im pansexual because they dont understand it

I'm bi...still havn't come out to my family only beacuse I know there reaction will be bad.
Other then that, i'm open about it with my friends and school.

It kinda just came out that I had a girlfriend to my friends.
And my school is the most tolerant of homosexuals in my city. So yeah. Hah.

Im bi.. just joined a church and a heap of my friends are christian so Im kind of scared about telling them.. only a few of my friends know.. otherwise its still a secret..

I literally rolled out of a closet....with another girl.

That and other people just kinda figured it out for themselves. No speeches or powerpoint presentations needed.

My mom saw that I brought a girl over who was obviously gay, and she asked me about it and if I was a lesbian, so I said yes, and she said, "About time, everyone knew". I guess it depends on the person, but a lot of people are more accepting of homosexuality these days.

Told a few close friends via facebook/msn/DA etc. Then when I felt comfortable, announced it straight out to anybody. I've grown not to care about their reactions, though my mothers reaction was the funniest; "I'm concerned about what some family members might think.". Made me chuckle a fair bit.

I started telling some close friends and decided not to deny it if someone asks... nobody asked... yet xD

Who says it's any of their business? You shouldn't have to feel like you have to hide it, nor should you feel like its something everyone needs to hear. That's the way I see it.

On that note, the people who have asked me know. Those who haven't, don't. Plain and simple.

I just acted super gay and flamboyant. I never actually came out to anyone other than my parents.
I just let them figure it out by the way I act. ^^

It's less of a surprise to them if I do it that way I think. =3
