Ack, I'm so sorry that you still haven't been told what might possibly be wrong, nothing is worse than being left waiting for news like that. Also, I think it's HORRIBLE that your surgeon is so fail, I'm in the process of seeking a new doctor because the one I have has SUCH horrible bedside manner and makes you feel everything is your fault or that, despite physical proof, you are imagining it all and being a hypochondriac.

As for art, I say take time to do pieces you will enjoy without pressure to get them done in a time-frame or at all! As much as I'd love to beg and plead to be able to commission you again and again and again, I understand fully how stressful it can really be. Even if folks don't' set deadlines, sometimes you still feel frustrated and rushed.

I'd offer a trade in a heartbeat if you're at all interested in my work, regardless I'd adore to do some gift-art. Just need to weed through a few things that I've been putting off before I take on something new. Then again, I tend to do whatever I have the drive and inspiration to do because it always comes out WAY better.

Yeah I have to say doctors don't seem to realise how bad it feels for them to act like you are overreacting. I understand that some people do, but I mean I don't even want to seek medical attention cause the doctors have just done a number on me mentally lately. My GP is great but there is only so much he can do. He had mentioned referring me to another surgeon who was younger and more gung ho on things, as the one I am with is near retirement supposibly, so I will bring that up with him again and see what he says.

thats so shitty. i'm glad healthcare is free here, but shit, it takes forever to get something done sometimes. my girlfriend's mom has needed her ankle replaced for two years and it's a fairly new process so she's been on the waiting list foreeeever, not able to work and hardly able to walk for more than 10 minutes. anyways i hope the doc does the right thing and moves you to the other surgeon. i don't know why they're not taking it more seriously... it's like younger people can just "deal with it" or something in their eyes, idk. ANYHOW like i was saying, i hope this all gets sorted out soon for you! ):

Well my doctor said its more they don't want to believe the uncommon is happening, and at my age not alot of uncommon's can happen. He now has a new route with some new symptoms I am showing, sent in his own request for a ct scan and now i gotta do a barium xray too to make sure all pipes are attached correctly and not havign any holes, as he seems to think I have a fistula...which can only happen at my age if i have chrons, or my appendix burst and the infection from it formed one. Actually kinda gross to look into the process of how those are formed, but it is very rare, and expecially rare for my age. I dunno, whats more exhausting, the pain itself or fighting for a health care provider to do something about it. My GP is great and all but I mean he can only refer me, and not much else, and I am just hoping he's ont he right track now so I can just get it fixed. :(

I feel bad for your girlfriends mom, I watched my own mother go through that with her knee. Though they kept saying, "Can't get it replaced till your late 60's" and its like but she's living life now and needs a knee that works now not when she's retired. My gp actually helped her convince them and she got it replaced just a few years ago. But lack of mobility is awful.
