Other, non-meme related news! So, I got back yesterday from Midwest Furfest -- my first furcon -- and wound up having a great time. Went and chilled with
drakonicknight , 
DJSammehfox, and met up with 
ifus (finally, might I add.) Added 30-something artists to my watch list, and met a bunch more great people. Also made some friends. Yay, friends! And I legitimately say that 'cause we traded steam info; it makes it supah serial.

As for Fur-cons, it's surprisingly similar. I've been to both ACEN (Anime Central) and now MWFF, both of which are even held in the same hotel, and honestly, there's a lot that's the same. Artist alley, Dealers dens, panels, Open mics, Fursuit (in lieu of cosplay) parade. MWFF also had an art gallery where much higher quality stuff was being sold; I gotta say, I was blown away by the caliber of some of this stuff. Yes, MWFF is comparatively small to ACen (Largest Anime convention in this part of -- if not THE -- country versus 3rd largest furcon, plus the size of each respective fan base), but really, it had a lot of the same feel. I encourage you to go to a Fur-con, especially if you could manage MWFF next year. We could meet up!
Oh; it was also immensely liberating to be at a fur-con, surrounded by other furs, and just feel at home.
It sounds like a lot of fun =^^= I've been itching to attend one for some time...I think there's one not too far from here, but I prolly won't be able to make it to that one. But hanging out with ya at MWFF does sound like great fun :3
