Geraldton // No new art for a week.

Hi fluffies!
Last night Darky aka ralarare drove down to Perth to help Tristanio and I get ABSOLUTELY plastered. Today, on a whim, my brother and I decided to invade HIS home town of Geraldton for a few days :}
I think we left at about 7pm and just now arrived, it's 2:20am here now.
Gavin and Darky are playing Perfect Dark as I type this.
On the way down we saw one dead roo (not our fault), one dead roo (our fault... D:*), a dead echidna, a dead fox kit, two rabbits, a live fox and three live kangaroos (one of which almost became 'dead roo: our fault #2'). FIRST TIME I'VE SEEN A REAL ECHIDNA IN PERSON... and it was all splattery and dead D: Oh well, Darky DID promise to show me an echidna but he never said anything about it being alive.
Geraldton also has moths the length of my hand. It's neat.
Part of the reason I mention this is I am very far from my scanner and art supplies, so no new drawings for a while dudes. Sorry. From the outskirts of Perth to Geraldton is about 424km or 263.4 miles.
Basically just wanted to spend a week or so exploring somewhere new :} Seemed like as good a time and place as any, and hanging with Darky's always fun! Might even go up to Kalbarri, not sure yet.
Only shame if, Jack is working all this week and could not join us D: Miss him already!
Anyway, you guys have fun and I promise to do the same. Toodles!
* The roo was dazzled by Darky's car headlights and bound into the front left headlight from the left side of the road (we drive on the left) and could not be avoided at 100km+ per hour. I was really loud and shook his car - scared the crap out of us as Gav and I never even saw the roo before we hit it. We went back to see if it was okay, but she was gone. A fairly young female. Seems she died instantly and relatively painlessly.

Hope you have a good time!
Can't imagine what it'd be like to hit a deer, they're so much bigger - but we're lucky she wasn't right in front of us... If they come through the windshield it can kill you D: We were in a little hatchback! Good thing insurance tends to cover this sorta thing down here.
Not to self: Avoid deer/moose :B
I havent been home in years :C
Hope you had a lot of fun.
I hope I have fun too - thanks! And you should come back some time... I think the Perth fur scene has about 100+ people..? xD https://www.perthfurs.net - WE ARE GROWIIIING. So many of us now :}
Perth is a great place, totally different lifestyle to anywhere else in australia.
I'm pretty deeply rooted here in Perth (while accurate I can't stop feeling that statement sounds like an innuendo) and I'm not sure I have the courage to just move city, I envy you that!
Canada is pretty amazing, and they love my aussie accent here XD I have never seen snow either, but its just starting to get really cold (consistantly in the negatives at night) its due to snow this week, its exciting.
I have been told it can get up to -40 with windchill in the worst part of winter, I'm going to die :P though it was pretty funny, it was 30 degrees in summer one day and all the canadians were freaking out over the 'heatwave' we just laughed haha
P.S. Dont get caught on fire XD
Um, probably until Sunday/Monday..? Not entirely sure just yet.
