Just a couple of days from Thanksgiving, and the house is still not done. While the old tile was finally jackhammered out and the new flooring laid, only half the house got carpeted... coz they ran out of carpet and had it on back-order. So it finally comes in and when the carpenters bring it, the color is so far off from what they already laid down in half the house. So we say, 'no way are you installing that'. So they send a sample of it back to the mill, and if it's less than 5% off, too bad, we gotta take it. If it's in fact more than 5% different grain, then we gotta wait even longer for a new batch. Urgh.

So yeah. Half the house carpeted, the other half concrete still. Started moving some of the furniture back in anyway, and am going to set up a temporary computer and art station on the side of the house that is finished after the Holiday, so I can finally finish my commissions that had to be put on hold for all this crap.

I hope I never, EVER have to deal with flood damage again. It's been a nightmare.

I know I am waaaaaay behind on notes and emails and art guys. I am so grateful your patience and am slowly working thru the backlog.
