My personal solution involves near overdose levels of sugar, caffeine, and techno.

my solution, is to do a single activity that requires a minimum of physical and mental activity,
like watching a good movie you've already seen before, or one that isn't too much of a 'thinking' movie that doesn't last more than 3 hours. Unplug the phone, lock the doors, close the windows and draw the shades, eliminate all possible distractions! gather one good snack and a drink.

Watch movie and allow mind to just to go blank and absorb the movie, munch on snack and consume drink as needed.

once movie is done, break out the gear and get to work!
