Yup. That's what I'm gonna do. So yeah, the inability to realize that pedophilia is wrong is pretty much the problem. :>

That's fine. Not many people realize that fetishes result from a number of things, primarily involuntary (unless you're a lurker and dig for worse and worse fetish material every night to try and fap to) and can't really be "turned off" unless you undergo some intense psychological treatment. Not saying anyone who acts on illegal fetishes or things should ever be excused, I don't condone acts of pedophilia, but artworks should be okay since it helps curb instances of bringing fantasy into reality. That's just how I see this art. One can get sick from eating urine/feces, harm children, harm yourself, violate tons of laws and make yourself out to be socially indecent, but instead of being in denial of your feelings or hating yourself for them, at least there is art as an outlet to protect your well being or to curb the tempt of acting on it... just my opinion.

Actually, it doesn't curb those at all. Pedophiles who look at pornography involving children are MORE likely to molest a child than pedophiles who actually try to suppress those urges through therapy.
I have good reasons for wanting nothing to do with pedophiles, whether or not they are getting help for it. I realize that you cannot help what turns you on, even if it involves hurting another person, but that doesn't mean I have to be happy about being around pedophiles or that I have to be friends with them.
I don't buy into the whole 'pedophiles can't help what they do', though I realize that isn't the argument you're making here. I've read the studies, I've spoken with counselors who work with admitted pedophiles (even some who have been convicted of molestation), and I've experienced what happens first hand when a pedophile stops trying to control their urges. Simple fact of the matter is, looking at pictures of it, reading stories of it, makes them more likely to do it because it makes it more acceptable in their mind. It gives them a means of deluding themselves that the kid will somehow enjoy it and consent.
