My opinions and future plans on current events.

The recent ruling on cub art comes as no surprise to me. What surprised me was how long they held off on it before finally banning it. I feel that Dragoneer and his staff fought a long hard battle to keep this gallery censorship free. Not even the UK or all of Europe banning it was reason enough alone. I truly feel that did everything they could, no matter how unpopular, to keep cub art from being banned. And for that I feel they deserve respect.
I don't blame a lot of artists for closing their galleries and moving to InkBunny. I've already had a site there for months and have been considering moving all my cub pics there for quite awhile anyway. And if InkBunny has to drop cub art as well, I'll still have Cub Central to post in. But it's sad to see so many artists I respect quit drawing or posting altogether over this. It's not the end of the world. There are plenty of other art galleries out there.
As for me, I believe it's best to keep your art in as many different galleries as possible. I will be removing all my cub art a day or two before the dead-line so people have as much time as they can to save anything they liked. I will also be removing all cub executions and snuff pictures that involve nude cubs just to be safe. From now on all cubs will be properly clothed before their untimely demises. All other art will remain and I will continue to post any art that is in line with the AUP. The Winston beach comic isn't even half over yet and I have plenty of other non-cub projects I'm working on.
