It's the night before Thanksgiving, I am sitting with my family, away from my  zew~zew and have many things on my mind.

For one, I did have a great time at Oklacon. I got to visit with friends and see a few people I haven't seen in forever. As well as the fact that I got to introduce Zew to a lot of good people as well as we both made a BUNCH of new friends.

I also have been very busy with school. I am making an extreme attempt to keep up my grades. Not easy but worthwhile.

I have another thing on my mind that has forced me to finally make this kind of post.

I have looked at my life. I have realized that I really care about my friends and family. I really enjoy spending time with them, and I really enjoy doing things for them to help them out.

But...

Sometimes the people who I have called friends have not been. Instead they have chosen to take advantage and use me. Either physically, emotionally or monetarily.

The third one has happened a lot with the last year. So much so that I am at this point in time in a financial wreck.

No, I'm not asking for handouts. I refuse.

But I am going to say this:
If the reason that you are a friend with me is just to get something, stop. I can't afford to handle it anymore, in any sense of the word. If you think that you are doing something, go ahead and ask. I'll be blunt. Kind, but blunt.
A lot of the people who read this, don't worry, but for the ones who do, and you know who you are, be ready for me to cease and desist with any type of "help" that you needed or may need in the future. I'll always be nice to you and be a friend, but like I've said before, I can't do what I used to, which I probably shouldn't have done back then.

I'm sorry to have to post something like this when this should be a time
for happiness and the enjoyment of others company but I just had to get this out.
