Transitions: Sooner than later...

In a clear case of closing-the-barn-doors-after-the-horses-escaped syndrome, FA has decided to ban cub porn, AFTER their principle donation conduit AlertPay closed FA's account and stole what money was in their account....which they won't get back, nor will AlertPay restore their agreement. FA got fucked by AlertPay, plain and simple, and now AFTER THE FACT, punishes all cub art fans by banning cub porn, when it really doesn't matter at this point.
Stupid. Really stupid.
Like I said before, APPEASEMENT NEVER EVER WORKS! AlertPay's gone, outta here- Get over it! And it's not fair to punish cub artists and fans when it won't solve ANYTHING.
FurAffinity lost alot of money, and they won't see it returned without court time, which is expensive, and pretty much guaranteed to lose, considering the basis of AlertPay's closure of FA's account: cub porn.
So cub art/porn fans like me lose out, here.
There's still Inkbunny, which is run by a couple cub fans.
I'll be moving my stuff there over the next couple days, and leave everything here intact, until FA decides all four of my accounts are abandoned accounts.
That said, it's been a nice ride up until now, but now FA will truly begin to suffer, and punishing us after the fact doesn't help. It won't make things improve for FA anytime soon. The damage is already done. Apparently, AlertPay's been pulling similar stunts all over the 'net, and I doubt this'll go any better for FA.
Anyhoo, that's it for me, here-- Same account name, different site! Hopefully things'll fair better for Inkbunny, as they use AlertPay, too, and even had some lawyers make sure things would be copacetic, considering content... If not, they better find a way to pull out of AlertPay!

But is justice only for the people we like? Or, in this case, only for the art styles and categories we like? Just because you like something I don't go for doesn't mean you are wrong.
I like you (as a friend, of course ) despite the things about you that don't make me comfortable. I'm sure there are things about me you don't like. That's normal. Even the two most compatible people in the world will have things about each other that don't sit well with them.
And I accept your right not to be comfortable with the things that don't bother me-- I don't expect you will!- but I thank you immensely for your continued support and friendship. As for you, I don't know you well enough to really be sure I don't like any particular thing about you, except that you can be enigmatic-- But that's to be expected around these parts. :)

As for my being enigmatic, I admit part of that is caution on my part. You could say that I'm heeding the old axiom of women (although I'm not of the fairer sex) to keep a bit of mystery in their relationships. I also appreciate the feedback, too. Sometimes, I wonder what people can't stand about me, if anything.
I'm much the same way about caution, but I've also always preferred being straightforward-- Sometimes, it really IS "WYSIWYG". :)
I've always appreciated it when someone has taken the time to show an interest in something I do or say.. :)
