I have to say good on Dragoneer for explaining the decision in the best, most unbiased way possible.
I personally am not a big fan of cub work, so this effects me very little. But I did watch a few artists that do some cub work, not because it was cub but because it was good art despite the content of the image. And to those people I feel sympathy towards. Yes, there are other places to go but having such a choice in art preference must be annoying, never quite sure when your gallery is going to have to be taken down and moved to another site that may end up going with the same decision at any given time.
With this issue coming forward, I do have to point something out. I have had people question the age of my characters many times, I want to clarify that my characters are never underaged. They are all at least 18 or older. I do not have any want or desire to do cub artwork and have never done so in the past. My style does tend to sometimes make characters appear younger, but that is not the case nor is it my intention.

I think some people who don't draw cub porn art, but have a more 'cutesy' style of art might have a chance of getting art pulled because of how the characters look rather then what they actually are (like how you said some characters look young, but are indeed all 18+)
I never really thought about drawing the stuff, nor have I even thought that I'd draw the stuff in the future.
it seems people are focusing on the PORN aspect, I mean, the porn is going, not the clean stuff, and really, I watch people for the art style/quality, not for what porn they draw or not. thats like if somebody said to Narse (hypathetically speaking) "stop drawing dragon porn", doesn't mean I'd stop watching him, he still has a really great art style that I enjoy seeing, wether he was to draw porn or not doesn't matter. I think getting rid of the porn is a good thing, but at the same time a bad thing, but thats for another reason in itself. All in all, its done, it happened, and we can't change it. Am I mad at Dragoneer? heck no, he did what he had to do for the site, and the artists took it with their heads held high, and didn't argue, and just went on. All in all, I think both parties did good in different aspects.
anyways, thats my thought on it x3 But im thinking people are getting tired of the whole "cub porn" titled journals, and if I were to make one, would either delete it, or rage on me for me saying what happened was both good and bad, hehe
