What is art and what isn't.

Everyone has read the new agreement (on cub porn), everyone has had their opinion, I'm sure everyone is going to continue to rage, laugh, troll, and argue against or with for the next few days. But i have to say... Why bother.
FA is an art site. There is plenty of art and porn here for everyone and anyone that says they are over 18 can see. I have seen everything from huge penises that devour females to the dirtiest furry rape. Why bother even banning Cub. Because it so called "depicts a child in a situation some people do not agree with". But what is art and what isn't. There is plenty of art out there with naked children with naked people, in situations very much the same. I bet bums that cant afford the internet go to museums to get off.
So if there is worse stuff on FA, I'm interested to see how far you can go till everything that depicts something that doesn't exist but in our imagination, in a scene that we might not approve of finally also gets banned. Why are we even here in the first place?
I don't think there is any porn on FA... Just Art... to get people off. Doesn't hurt anyone right?

As much as it sucks there's not alot FA can do about it - without that money the site won't surrvive.

I'm against cub-porn personally so my opinion's like the 831,000 journals in my inbox of other furs on this site that think theirs is unique and special (it's almost as if I'm sick of seeing them). I just don't like seeing cub porn and traditional artwork mentioned in the same sentence xD
But in the end i guess its one man's beliefs against another. I think no matter what type of art it is, its still art. Drawn, created, photographed, for whatever reason... it's still art. RL child porn is wrong. Drawing a young imaginary animal having a good time, is just art. It's not real, its not hurting anyone. Its just for display. I'm not really comparing art, I'm just saying that it all is. And that there is nothing wrong with it.
Then opinions clash. lol
I know what ya mean though; even if it's not suited for me, it's still a form of artwork in one way or another to the right person.
Start sites just for it, I guess? *shrugs*
(I would like to say, rape-porn is not real rape, so I'm fine with it. Torture art is not real torture, so I'm fine with it. Child-porn art is not real child rape, so I'm fine with it. People should just chill out, but people are idiots.)
But meh... I'm not here for any kind of pron. I simply like beautiful art. Some of it *can be pron* (usually the best beautiful pron is pretty clean anyways) But i tend not to look at it if it got a red outline.... I'm probly one of few furries who arn't here for the pron at all!
