Hate me all you want, as I know several you now do, but it's damn well true. Art is not something that hurts anyone; you may not like what it shows, but there's a very simple solution for that: DON'T LOOK AT IT!!!
But nope; it's so much easier to tell everyone to just get the hell out of your sight and take all their drawings with them. You know what; you're jackasses; all of you that support this are a bunch of jackasses, and I don't mean your fursonas. Let's ban all pictures that involve hypnosis next, thanks to the rape connotations; then lets jut get rid of the water sports category, cause that squicks people too; then lets ban Hyper since it makes people feel inadequate. Might as well ban Macro related pictures too, since they're all about genocidal psychos!

FA has no business censoring like this.
The only reason I'm tolerating it at all is because AlertPay put a knife to their balls and cut them off...for which they've earned a scathing rebuke on a journal of my own. Both FA and AlertPay.
Cub porn creeps me out to no end and I still think it's wrong for FA to be censoring it.
I simply choose not to look at it. Hell, I'm sure it could be stamped as mature and let it be at that.
But nooooo, AlertPay has to go throwing a hissy fit and bullying FA into banning it.
AlertPay, you suck balls. And FA, nice backbone you got there, not to mention a huge bit of cheek you left wide open for AlertPay to bite at.
Case and point, y'all shouldnt get mad at FA, they dont want to be shut down, and I'm amazed they didn't say why they were doing this.
I'm mad at FA for not doing its homework and letting itself get hammed over by AP in the first place.
First, Dragoneer starts a thread to discuss things.
People vent, which can be expected with such a change.
The staff overreact and turn into the Gestapo, the thread gets locked, and then people start getting locked and banned for even asking questions about cub porn, there's a mass exodus, and anyone left behind keeps their mouth shut for fear of the hammer.
All the while not even ONE of the admins bothers to make the outlawing of the subject official.
Result? People getting banned out of fucking NOWHERE for talking about something that's not actually forbidden in writing. Any administrative decrees on the subject are at best buried under mountains of inflammatory comments on BOTH sides in threads nobody in their right mind would browse unless they were up to no good in the first place.
I do not care if I get banned for calling pinkuh a nazi. In theory insulting an administrator in a comment on someone else's journal is just expressing an opinion and is not a punishable offense. In practice, you can never be too sure.
Besides, IF it is enough to get me banned (which I doubt) then I don't want to be here anyhow. I only log in to observe my watches, and to view mature artwork others link to.
I have already long since stopped participating.
