Sparky's Stitches is my small home-based machine embroidery business. I both make things with commercially-available designs as well as with originally-created designs.

Yes, I can create designs of original artwork. However not just any image will work. I don't take an image, plug it into my design program, and press a magic button. No, I have to build a design with shapes and fills and lines and textures etc, so what that means is I need a very clean, FINISHED piece of art to work with. Not too many lines everywhere, and keep in mind that simpler is better. I will NOT accept sketches, nor will I "clean up" your art. Either your art will work as is or it will not. Please do not be offended if I inform you your art is not acceptable for digitising.
Yes, I can and will do many copyrighted designs, such as logos and cartoon characters. I also welcome suggestions for stuff to create to put in my shop. The Team Fortress 2 patches were a suggestion that I never would have done on my own and they are a huge seller. As is the Go Diego Go badge. So I welcome such suggestions.
Prices? That's where it gets tricky as I don't have a lot of business sense. :P Digitising will run from $10 and up depending on the complexity. The actual embroidery will vary depending on what it is. Small patches (2-4 inches) will be around $10, and it goes up from there. Shipping runs a few dollars depending on weight and where you live.
I can make patches (iron-on unless you prefer no patch backing), t-shirts, bags, aprons...whatever we can work out.

Copyrighted characters... I'd kill for Bent-tail, Brer Fox, (Disney) Gremlins, Darkwing Duck and other rather obscure characters... Selling those would be kind of illegal though. But I could draw them for you!
These designs are cute but I do have trouble with lots of fiddly lines. I can try them but no guarantees. Also I'm sure you know that I'd have to charge more than $5 for each of them, might be more like $10, with a possible price break if you order in bulk. Plus I'd have to charge to do the actual digitizing if you don't want me to sell the patches on my own.

25 sounds reasonable. I do have a question, though. o: It's a custom design, and I know it's selfish of me, but I'd rather nobody else get it? xDD
I've been looking around everywhere like crazy for someone who makes patches.
I don't need them any time soon!
