Take a break? Eat more ice cream? Persist to complete stuff and see if it clicks?

The more you do it, the more it becomes a habit. I promise... just try this a few times (you may see it straight away the first time)... if you don't like your sketch, don't delete it or erase it... just keep working on it even if you don't like it. Just watch and see. :3

If you are really really struggling with it... just get up and walk away from the picture for a few minutes to get your mind in the right place... and away from negative thoughts... if that doesn't work (MAKE THIS YOUR VERY LAST RESORT BECAUSE YOU MAY FORGET OR JUST IGNORE IT) save the sketch (no matter how simple or small it is) and go back to it as soon as you can.

it happens once in a while! Either just lay off for a week or two and see how you feel, or maybe try drawing something you really don't ever draw and practice that instead. It's easy to get really discouraged but bust through it, you can do it!

ive had my lack of inspirations and good art for a long time. i know how you feel. but im still too stubborn to give up. i pull on all my resources to find inspiration to get me to come up with better art. hell i know my skill is hurtin cause i havent made a final piece of art in years...all ive done is sketched. course thats all i have time for. so your not alone. i find music, or favorite movies or books to help get the creative juices flowin and if i dont like what i do i just force myself to try different angles of something i want to draw, get a better view, even if i have to, do practice so i can come back and get the work to look right.

When this happens to me, I hide in the shadows behind a busy place and sketch random people walking by.

It might be the subjects you're trying to draw. What I usually do at these times is walk away from what I'm doing and distract myself with another thing; sometimes its even just sketching something else. :>
