Avoid Straxxus as in, don't get him for you? Or as in don't get him period? Cause I'm really wanting to snag him for my Generations collection. Still can't wait until they come out with the other Seekers. I don't know if I'm getting Thrust (who's wings were done wrong, but eh...) for Christmas yet, so I don't want to buy him just to end up having two.

And I can't wait for Cybertron Megs to hit my local Wally World shelves. That and Soundwave, Ratchet, Cliffjumper, etc.

straxus is a pretty good one actually, a little fiddly at parts but oh well, if there is anything dissapoint its that his doodads are a bit wonky,

From what I've seen, his 'battle axe' looks more like a large two-headed pick, and his backpack seemed a bit off (didn't look like it was staying on like it was supposed to, but that could've just been the angle in the picture), but other than that he looked relatively solid. As opposed to some Beast Wars toys, that pretty much either fell apart if you looked at them weird, or had tabs that were way too big to fit into the proper slots.

But I digress. We're talking Generations, here. x3

his backpack is pretty tight actually, and his axe is supposed to be a pick right?

On the package it's called a 'Battle Axe'. To me, it just looks like he's ready to do some serious mining. If they wanted to give him a battle axe, they sure picked (pardon the pun, there..) the wrong weapon.
