People like to say stupid and spiteful things, and like others have said most of the time it's jealousy or done just to get a thrill out of watching your reaction. Just smile and ignore them... they will not admit it, but your dancing must have caught their attention for them to even comment!

Honestly, if you paid off the judges who really cares? Well, aside from a few people that need to pick their battles more carefully.

My thoughts exactly I'm not putting the competitions on a resume I'm not winning any money I don't have trophies in a curio or on a mantle somewhere its something just for fun yeah its nice to hear my name called in first place but that's not why I compete and its also why if I'm not judging the next few competitions i plan on doing exhibitions for more artistic style dances. my initial goal was to spread dance appreciation in the fandom and that's already been done so its all just fun now.

and I can relate to the whole new friends thing except instead of shitty friends it was family my best friend said a simiar quote "phor your family sucks you should get adopted unless you'd consider a 60th trimester abortion" so I've been getting that much closer to all my friends because in reality thee are my family
