This website is something most of you will probably have interest in:
http://www.itgetsbetter.org/
Now I'm not even close to gay myself (IRL wieners are gross, but i guess it's a matter of taste. Kinda like people who like anchovies on their pizza. I know that sounds like a stupid analogy, but what other people eat effects me the same as the way other people fuck, which is to say: not at all ) but I hate to see anyone who is being ostracized only because they live a lifestyle that isn't harming anyone else. other than maybe the pope, because the pope's power comes from disdain for those different than him and AIDS in Africa, both of which he apparently LOVES, seeing how hard he is trying to keep both going.
Now you may not be gay either, and, even if you DON'T care about how the people who are are being treated (which makes you kinda an asshole, but i digress) THIS WEBSITE IS STILL FOR YOU! For anyone who realized that high school is nowhere near the real world, and that the way you are treated there is some kind of twisted, shithole version of the way people really act in public. Don't you try and tell me that ONE of you hasn't been treated like shit in high school. Seriously. I mean, look at where you are right now! It's a FUCKING CARTOON PORN SITE. and not that I care, I mean, I'm here too, aren't I? But i have trouble believing that any of us here were the "cool kid" in high school, and I don't know about you, but now that i'm in college, i can tell you: It DOES get better. IT GETS SO MUCH FUCKING BETTER.
tl;dr: High School culture is brutal, some kids (especially gay kids) are killing themselves because they assume the whole world is like that; this website is a project to get people who are victim to horrible treatment in high school to realize how much better it gets after high school, and to push through it.
tl;dr was tl;dr: Stephen Colbert supports this website. this magically makes people care, usually.

FA+

I just wish everyone else could see that they hurt other people with their words, regardless of intent; regardless of "JUST KIDDING LOL". I wish they could all see how much hurt they cause and how many of the kids they bully go home and hurt themselves to compensate for the mental damage.
I know I got... sick of being called all of the names, and despite how hard I wanted to snap and scream, I knew that was what they wanted, so in the end I just found comfort in the presence of others. Then, no matter how strange I was, I could have them to lean on -- and more importantly, they'd have me.
"Even if the inside is black as night, at the end of the tunnel? There's always a light." It gets better. :D
