There are a good number of furs in the military. This is not necessarily good by forever. You will be back after basic.

I plan on eventually venturing into some other lines of work within the Navy that will most likely pull my away from a private life.

LMAO!!! Full Metal Jacket already gave me the heads up on that party. I've also been told not to go to ask for a "Stack of 21's (or 12's... can't remember the number" I do believe it was called. But yeah, ask for that, and you get stacked with that many people from their barracks in a bum rushed dog pile.
