I read a lot about that guy. This was clearly not a topic this guy likes to relive.
There was this saying that went something like... "A medal reflects the light of glory, but also casts a dark shadow." I think this is a fitting description for this video. (I feel like such a pussy listening to stuff like this.)

If you ever listen to some of the other MoH recipients reliving thier stories you'll often get simular kinds of videos. But, the one thing that has just so my impact on me a MoH recipent hardly ever wants that honor. It's the greatest honor our nation can offer, but the cost was never worth it. So, yeah, I think that description is fitting.

And, yeah man, they are badasses. But, I guess to me, they aren't exactly badasses so much as, just orginarly people that have proven that every person is capable of extraordinary things. I think they are inspiring.

this is why I'm anti war. Those people are broken for life, no medal will give them back what they lost. In war there are no winners - only those who've lost their soul and kept their life. It's the 21st century for crying out loud, it is time to grow up and stop the senseless killing. :/
