Glad to hear your home again and I believe you when you say it will be a long 3 months. Broke my jaw once and it was a very long 6 weeks. don't let the wheel chair get you to down, you can still get about in em just takes more effort! :)

well I can get around, too a point. Most of my usual hangouts are inaccessible to wheelchairs. :(
I spent a lot of times out doors, in the woods. :(

You just need the right wheel chair. you would be surprised at where you can go if you have some help. Would give that help if I could.

first you have excelent art so the watchers show it second im glad your home hospitals suck being stuck in a chair is a royal pain but at least your not stuck in a bed

LONGEST? . . . nah itll fly by . . .trust me i was down fer about 45 days do to inguinial ( not spelled right ) ahernia . . . and that time flew by, tho i was TOLD to walk as much as possible, even right after the surgery . . .they asked me to stand up as long as i could and i did . . . but i wasnt allot to lift of do anything simialr to that fer the first 10 days . . . then i was limited to the wiehgt of my laptop and . . . .well thats about it LOL 10 pounds. im tellin ya, when yer done . . .youll be like jeebus that was fast. good luck, take care and dont do anything that could complicate things . . .like i did, i was told not to wear a belt fer the fist 8 months after the surgery . . . i did, and now i have to deal with internal scarring that twinges if i move the wrong way.

wel it's a little different when you are told to walk as much as possible as opposed to do not walk at all, do not even put any weight on your left leg.
I think the injuries are a lot different. you could still go out to hang out with your friends and go out places, I need to be transported places and whoever is driving me has to have room to fit my wheel chair and crutches in their car. And that is considering I am even able to get down the stairs to get outside.

yeah yer right to a point . . . but i couldnt just go and hang out . . .it was more like i wanted to just walk here and there but i got soo tired from doing soo i ended up falling asleep wherever i ended up LOL. yeah i understand what yer sayin tho, sorta a bad similarity-ation-thingy on my part . . .meh im half asleep typing these anywho . . . sorry >.<
