I'm gonna be getting a monthly check from them as compensation. While it will help, what kinda pisses me off is that they've written off my back problem as a lower lumbar muscle strain, which doesn't make sense considering I've had it for years, and muscle strains apparently disappear after a couple months.

Is that going to be for an indefinite period, the compensation? I hope that it's a decent figure. :x

Second opinion? Not that I know of. I'm thinking about registering for the $25 a month health insurance the VA offers, and then going back to the chiropractor.

I would suggest you do so. Might as well, it's extra coin and you get your back looked at.
