In the four years I have lived in natchitoches I have never had my mom come down to visit but once. That was with my pops and when I was living with five people (it was a five bedroom place)
After that incident three years ago she hasn't been back to see me. Not because she doesn't want to but because it has been an awkward past few years. But after an odd conversation through texts and a phone call, my mom is finally owing down to see me.
Thing is, I don't know whether this is good or bad.

It's good because I get to see and spend time with her, I get to let her see that I am doing okay... Kinda.... and we get to talk and catch up on things.

It's bad because I am letting her into my home which is a nuthouse. She also has a drinking problem and I don't know how I would feel if she was down here drunk or got drunk on the way and had an accident... I dunno what would happen but I am sure worried about that. Plus she has never been too understanding of my lifestyle.

Oh well. Wish me luck guys. I will have a report on this disaster/success when i can.
