I think slippery slope defines it more. It's like they ban one thing, then another, and pretty soon, only perfectly clean art will be allowed.

I think you're reading more into this than there is, the groups policy was last updated in October, well before the cub-issue and moreover it is no specific ban against any fetish but adult-themed groups in general:

Actually it won't, the reason cub-porn and by extension sonic porn was banned was solely so the site would not lose its finances, as businesses do not want to be associated with that legal gray area

Yeah, I just checked for the site proper TOS and there's no mention of that and the links to the groups thing in the linked post goes to the forum group page.
