. can you feel the sunshine? does it brighten up your day? . so i was flipping through my manga collection for inspiration and references for "manga styled paneling" and stumbled upon a horribly wonderful book that i bought a while ago called "East Coast Rising".
it was the winner of a tokyopop talent search ages ago, i believe.
it only had one issue to my knowledge.
but sweet god, i forgot that this book might as well be called
"PIRATES OF NEW JERSEY".
i dont know what possessed me to pick this book up in the first place, but there are so many NJ jokes/references that i dont know whether to be proud or sick (kinda like when "clerks" mentioned my hometown for a fleeting second). I mean, for goodness sakes, the giant seaturtles are called "THE HOBOKEN!"
but anyways.
just laughing at it for a minute and thought i'd share.
...but please god.
let me have more than one issue.

If you scroll down, there's a sentence that makes me believe Tokyopop has something to do with issue 2 not being published. D:
sounds lik TP is being wishy-washy..
this one has to deal with urban pirates sailing the waters of a submerged NJ coastline
