they are a very good suit maker i personally would go for it :)

Who's the maker and final cost? Partial or full suit? On the front of getting it, I guess those previous questions need answered, just so we get a fuller picture :)

But on the front as someone who's now got commitments of bills and so on now, I ask the next question.

Can you afford it in the long run, or would the money be better off kept and spent on something else in the future?

I know the feeling, Dray. It's difficult to manage your money when you are living by yourself to begin with. I made that mistake a few times in february. xD

For me, though I am living with 2 friends it's due to my lowish wage. I'm on 13K a yea,r and after tax I'm taking home a touch under 11 of that.

It's an awful lot of money and given such a short time to think about it, I myself wouldn't be able to decide on an answer with that much cash being involved.
I'm sure that this won't be the only chance to have the suit made, so don't rush yourself into things without thinking it over enough

Just to re-iterate - it is a lot to pay for this suit, you could get one by FurHappens for that price ie. a maker who hasn't been caught selling a sex suit without divulging that fact

When is the completion date? I don't think made fur you are good at keeping to deadlines.

I'd say bid your time and you could find another maker just as good or better for cheaper. It'll also give you a chance to save up.

I'm not taking on any more work until late next year but if I made your suit I'd charge £600 ;)

if you don't, save save save! fursuits aren't very useful if you can't pay rents :p

Sounds like waiting may be the best option; $1000 is still a lot of money in GBP, and it'll leave quite a large hole in your funds.
