This fall I went back to college and took a creative writing course. I actually feel a little more confident in my writing now because of it and hopefully have found some ways to improve my work.

While I have written quite a bit on SoFurry, formerly yiffstar, such would not be appropriate for the class, so I have written some other things more mainstream.

A result is that I now have written things that can be published outside the furry community. I am sharing this because I have actually submitted a story several weeks ago, and today got an email.

I made it to the short list. It's not the same as actually getting published yet, but it is a step closer. Here's hoping.
